My client, a firm of construction consultants now seeking a BID COORDINATOR to join their Business Development team in Birmingham.

You will have worked in a bidding environment ideally within the construction industry or similar for several years.

You will play a key role in supporting business growth by leading bid production and delivering compelling publications and bid management procedures.

You will do the preparation of the quality aspects of selection questionnaires and tender submissions for a variety of clients.

Duties will include collating, coordinating, contributing as well as reviewing information from others, ensuring timely completion and full compliance with tender requirements.


My client is a large firm of construction consultants providing quantity surveying, building surveying, project management, health & safety and other services for clients in the private and public sectors.

They have offices across the UK and abroad.


You will have a BSc Degree, Diploma or similar in a construction, engineering or marketing subject.

You must be able to follow bid management protocols and processes and company guidelines.

You will maintain bid collateral by using bid management software.

You will manage frameworks register and identify pipeline for this office.

You will prepare work winning collateral including project profiles, cv's, case studies, capability statements.

You will prepare presentation material.

You will identify and distribute commercial opportunities through OJEU notices and web portals.

You will log opportunities and track bid status through bid management software.

You will plan bid production, draft tender responses when required.

You will edit and also proof read tender and bid documentation before submission and you will report and track bid outcomes etc.

You must have excellent communication skills - both written and spoken and have good attention to detail.

Experience of using InDesign is preferred along with bid writing capability and communication and marketing experience.

Salary negotiable in the range of £27000 to £34000 or more per annum plus pension, health insurance and other benefits.
