Principal Drainage Design Engineer- Bristol
My Client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy who specialise in Drainage, Flood Risk and Environmental Engineering, is searching for a Principal Drainage Design Engineer to join their team of specialists based in Bristol.
Applicants are required to have an academic background in Engineering including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering and have achieved or are close to achieving Chartered status. Candidates are required to have technical experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, drainage strategy and detailed SuDS, Residential Drainage and sewerage designs using Microdrainage and AutoCAD.
Applicants are also required to have experience managing Projects and mentoring team members.
As a Principal Drainage Design Engineer you will be required to manage and complete varied Flood Risk, Drainage, Hydraulic Modelling and Civil Engineering Projects for Residential, Commercial and Industrial Developments for Housing Developers, Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities. You will also be required to prepare bid proposals and develop new business opportunities with new and existing Clients.
As a Principal Engineer you will be required to provide technical advice to the team and complete the following;
-Flood Risk Assessments.
-Drainage Strategy and detailed SuDS and Residential Drainage Design using Microdrainage and AutoCAD.
-Surface Water Management Plans.
-Frequent liaison with Private and Public Sector Clients.
