HSEQ Advisor - Construction / Manufacturing

£40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

My client is a global Engineering consultancy, employing over 10,000 people in 40 countries on every continent. They trace their history back almost 160 years, and pride themselves at being at the forefront of change in the industry. Due to ongoing success, and long term project wins, they are looking to recruit a HSEQ Advisor to join their Health & Safety division, primarily working within Construction and Manufacturing.

The HSEQ Advisor (Health & Safety) role will be a mixture of office based (2 days a week on South Yorkshire / East Midlands border) and site based (UK wide). The office based element of the role will be working in the manufacturing division, whilst the site based element will be more construction led. One of the main areas for the role will be the start of my clients preparation of management systems for HS2 which will involve staying away 1-2 nights per week.

To be considered for the role, you will need to have a minimum of 5 years experience within a commercial HSEQ Advisor role, ideally with knowledge / experience of Construction, Manufacturing or Engineering. You will be suitably qualified (NEBOSH), and hold accredited membership of IOSH, as well as having a full UK driving license and having a flexible attitude to UK wide travel and staying away.

In return, a basic salary of between £40,000 -£45,000 is on offer, along with a company car, annual bonus and employer contribution pension scheme. To discuss the role in more detail, please contact Paul Turrall at Penguin Recruitment on 0121 442 0640, or email your CV to paul.turrall@penguinrecruitment.co.uk
