Senior Environmental Advisor
An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Environmental Advisor to join the Civil Engineering team to cover multiple projects nationwide.You'll:Support a wide variety of live projects and Buildability exercises deliver excellent environmental performance and drive Skanska Deep Green StrategyImplement the requirements of Skanska's Integrated Management System 'Our Way of Working' to meet the requirements of ISO 14001Develop and implement customer and project specific action plans to deliver the 2020 Business Plan targets for environment and societyEngage with the project Management Teams, to keep environmental and sustainability issues at the top of the agendaProvide regular performance reporting to the business and Environmental Leadership TeamsProvide support to the Work Winning Team in relation to prequalification and tender submissionsDevelop and deliver environmental and sustainability training including the CITB Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme (SEATS)Undertake environmental audits and inspections at contract level and within the supply chainRepresent and promote the environment team in meetings, workshops, management reviews and forums both internally and externallyWe're looking for:Proven experience in an environmental field, ideally in a similar roleDegree level in appropriate Environmental discipline (ideal)Associate or Practitioner Membership of IEMA or equivalentModerate IT Skills
