My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Drainage, Transport and Flood Risk Engineering, is searching for a Graduate Drainage Engineer to join an experienced drainage team based in Wakefield.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering and have experience working on Drainage Engineering modules using AutoCAD, Microdrainage or Infoworks ICM. Candidates are also required to have a keen interest in flood risk and drainage engineering and a desire to specialise in the sector.

It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing Flood Risk Assessments or Drainage Designs using AutoCAD or Microdrainage.

This exciting role will offer enthusiastic candidates the opportunity to join a supportive team of experienced Engineers to work on varied Residential Drainage and Flood Risk Projects for Private Sector Clients, Housing Developers and Local Authorities.

Applicants will also be trained to complete Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Catchment Management Plans, Drainage Strategy and detailed SuDS, Residential Drainage and Sewerage Design using AutoCAD and Microdrainage. Full training is provided by the experienced team.
