Environmental Engineer- Romsey *Heritage Projects*
My client, a specialist Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for an Environmental Engineer to join a supportive design Team based in Romsey.
This exciting role will offer you the chance to join a friendly team to work on Historical Projects for Palaces, Stately Homes and Protected Grounds. The workload will focus on Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water and Foul Water Drainage Strategies and Engineering design using Microdrainage and Environmental Impact Assessments for Government Bodies, Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients.
As an Environmental Engineer you will be required to complete Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Environmental Impact Assessment Chapters, Drainage Strategies and detailed Drainage Design using Microdrainage.
Experience using AutoCAD is beneficial. A willingness and ability to diversify into other engineering disciplines, and to apply innovation within the heritage sector is essential.

Applicants are required to have a BSc and/or MSc in a relevant discipline including Hydrology or Civil Engineering and ideally experience working for a Consultancy or Local Authority.
Applicants are also required to have a keen interest in Sustainable Drainage Systems, the natural and built heritage and Flood Alleviation.
It is also beneficial for Applicants to reside locally and have experience using software including Microdrainage.
