A fantastic new opportunity for a Principal Acoustic Consultant had opened within one of the UKs leading engineering and development consultancies. This role is based in London and offers the chosen candidate a fantastic opportunity for professional progression and development.
The chosen candidate will be experienced as a senior acoustic consultant with a bias in acoustical engineering. They will be suitable educated with a BSc, MSc, or BEng in a directly related subject area, hold an IoA diploma, full or associate IoA membership, and chartership. Applicants are also expected to hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel when necessary.
This role is focused towards acoustics within the built environment, including planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of construction projects both large and small scale, in the private and public sector.
The chosen candidate will be expected to manage projects from conception through to completion, contribute to business management and development, mentor and train junior staff members, write and proof read professional documentation and reports, and liaise with staff and clients regularly.
The chosen candidate will be capable of working within, and leading a team of specialist consultants, will be innovative, self motivated, and have highly developed communicative skills, both written and spoke.
