Health & Safety Manager - Groundworks / Plant Machinery

£40,000 - £45,000 + Car / Car Allowance

My client employs more than 6,500 people in 40 countries, and are a multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in the built environment, as well as compliance and testing. The have exciting growth plans throughout 2019, and currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Manager to join the team.

The Health & Safety Manager will play a big part in the ongoing success of a £50m Ground Investigation sector, reporting directly in to HSSE Director. You will have responsibility for day to day management of HSE, oversee all accident investigation and ensure that Health & Safety is seen as a priority for all. This is a home based role that will see you assigned to a local office, but with regular UK wide travel, so a willingness to travel and stay away is essential. This is a senior position that requires both hands-on and strategic skills.

To be considered for the role of Health & Safety Manager, you will need to have the following skills & experience:

  • NEBOSH General or Construction certificate
  • Ability of managing HSE across multiple sites concurrently
  • Experience within Groundworks / Plant Machinery / Construction / Rigs
  • The drive to improve HSE culture across the sector
  • Full UK driving license

In return, a basic salary of between £40,000 - £45,000 is on offer along with a company car or car allowance and a fantastic benefits package.
