Principle Designer & CDM Consultant - Construction / Property
£35,000 - £45,000 + Benefits
My client were established over 60 years ago, and provide a wide range of property and construction consultancy services to clients across the UK. They specialise in areas such as Architecture, Building Surveying, CDM Co-ordination, and much more, and due to a number of long term contract wins, they are looking to recruit a Principle Designer / CDM Consultant to join them at their office in Kent.
The role of Principle Designer / CDM Consultant with will report directly to the CDM Manager and will provide a range of CDM consultancy services to a wide and diverse client base.
The ideal candidate for the Principal Designer / CDM Consultant role will come from a Construction / Design background with experience of CDM 2015 and the Principal Designer role with a range of project experience. The NEBOSH Construction / IMAPS certificate would be great, and you will probably be able to demonstrate a minimum of 5 years experience in the industry. Your project experience will ideally include demolition through to large scale construction, and you will be confident in your ability in the design phase. You will have excellent communication skills, ideally have experience of leading / supervising a team, and have a flexible approach to travel. It is essential that you have a full UK driving license, and your own transport.
A basic salary of between £35-45k is on offer, along with an attractive benefits package. Ongoing training and development is provided, along with superb career progression opportunities.
