THE ROLE

I am now seeking an Intermediate M&E Quantity Surveyor able to run their own projects to join a firm of consultants in London who mainly do post contract work.

My client is interested in candidates from a Building Services Sub Contractor or from consultants.

Some experience of managing and undertaking all MEP quantity surveying and contract administration.

You will have the opportunity of working on projects across a range of sectors.

There will be plenty of opportunity to move up to a senior M&E QS role.

THE CLIENT

My client is a firm of construction consultants providing a range of commercial support for a good variety of clients across numerous sectors for various buildings, rail, water, utilities projects across the UK.

They are working on a range of high value projects.

THE CANDIDATE

Ideally you will have a BSc Hons, Diploma or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Building Services Engineering and you will have around two to three years or more experience of working on both mechanical and electrical engineering services as a quantity surveyor having worked for a firm of PQS or contractors.

You will report to a Senior QS or Director.

You should have a good overall understanding of all aspects of building services engineering costs and have excellent post contract experience as well as good experience of contracts and an understanding of commercial duties.

You will have the opportunity of working on projects across various sectors and our clients always discuss projects and offer you various roles when you complete a project.

Salary is very negotiable from £35000 to around £55000 or slightly more plus benefits.
