My client, a market leading UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Flood Risk Modeller to join their friendly and supportive Team of Engineers and Consultants based in Nottingham.

Applicants are required to have a MSc and BSc in Hydrology, River Basin Dynamics or Environmental Engineering and have experience working for a Consultancy or Local Authority completing Hydraulic Modelling using Hec-Ras or Flood Modeller Pro.

It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience completing Flood Assessments, Flood Consequence Assessments or Stormwater Modelling.

As a Flood Risk Modeller you will have the opportunity to join a specialist Water Team based in Nottingham. You will be supported to complete Flood Risk, Surface Water, Hydraulic Modelling and Water Resources Engineering Projects for Local Authorities, Water Companies, Private Sector Clients from feasibility to completion.

You will also be required to attend site visits, liaise with Clients and complete Hydrogeological Projects.

Candidates will also be supported to complete;

-Flood Risk Assessments.

-Surface Water Management Plans.

-Catchment Management Plans.

-Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.

-Flood Estimation using FEH, Winfap and ReFH.

-Hydrological Assessments.

-Hydrological Analysis.

-Hydraulic Modelling, Model Build and Verification using Hec-Ras.
